New Lentivirus with Far-Red Fluorescent Protein
Lenti-mKate2 is a lentivirus expressing far-red fluorescent protein mKate2.
The virus can be used as a control and for stable cell lines generation. Low toxicity demonstrated in transgenic Xenopus laevis embryos, makes mKate2 a superior fluorescent tag for imaging in living tissues.1. Bright far-red fluorescence
2. Monomer with successful performance in fusions
3. High pH- and photostability
4. Fluorescent signal is easily distinguished from background fluorescence
5. Recommended for protein labeling
Production of recombinant viruses expressing fusions to the mKate2 C-terminus is available through our custom services.
