Hello Dear, As a large no. of BRCA1 & BRCA2 mutations are alredy known, you can use ASO-Hybridization for known mutations which is very sensitive and less expensive. In most of the families , known mutations will be found. For rest of familie you can go for PCR-SSCP. It wil let you know if any mutation is present in a patient or not. Then PCR products with migration in PAGE indicative of presence of mutations will be sequenced. PLease let me know what type of collaboration do you want. Hello Dear, It is continous with first mail. There are two ways we can help you 1) You invite our expert to come to your institute. In this way, You will have to fund him/her for his stay at leat for six months. 2) You can come to our Lab. You will have an advantage that living expenses are very less here (US$ 100/month). However, cost of consumables will be beared by you. Please note that we have all facilities an experties to help you. It,s better to discuss it on Phone.
