Dear Dr. Shafiq, with great interest I saw your recent mail in HUM-MOLGEN and your interest for collaborators around the world. I would be also interested in a collaboration, my primary fields of interest are positional cloning approaches in the field of neurogenetics and sensory genetics (esp. the genetics of deafness). In case you may think about a common project, please do not hesitate to contact me. Best wishes Christian Kubisch

Hi Muhammad, I study genetic epidemiology and mapping genes of cardiovascular and mental diseases in isolated highland populations of the Caucasus. The populations there are very similar by marriages structure and other traditions to Pakistanians. Will be glad to have a comparative study in our populations. Dr K.Bulayeva IP: 194.67.68.122 |

Dear Dr. Shafiq I would be interested in establishing a collaboration with your group. Our focus in on mental retardation, especially X-linked. We have mapped many genes and can study both families or individuals. If you have families with AR MR they would be of great interest for genome mapping. Additionally, we would be interested in any families with spilt-hand/split foot malformation with or without long bone definency. If this is of interest to you, please contact me at: schwartz@ggc.org. Best regards Charles Schwartz ------------------
