Dear Researcher I'd like to inform you about a new way for researchers to genotype SNPs. Anyone and everyone with access to any Q-PCR device (e.g., ABI 7700/7900 or similar) can immediately undertake cheap and convenient SNP genotyping by just acquiring one piece of melt-curve analysis software. No additional equipment need be purchased, and you'll nevertheless get access to several different reaction chemistries, many of which come with assay design and validation services.
