Applications are invited for the position of a clinical tumour cytogeneticist as deputy of the head of the laboratory within the tumour cytogenetics laboratory located in the University Children's Hospital Zurich, Switzerland.The laboratory acts as a reference laboratory for a number of international trials and currently receives approximately 1600 samples per year from a broad spectrum of childhood and adult neoplasms. We are looking for a person with a strong motivation for diagnostic tumour cytogenetic work, and proven G-banding analysis abilities. In addition, you should have a proven higher education as clinical cytogeneticist. Some knowledge of the German language is advantageous. The position is available starting on February 1st, 2010. The city of Zurich is situated at the head of Lake Zurich with the nearest skiing region only an hour car or train journey away.
