Applications are invited for the position of a clinical tumour cytogeneticist as deputy of the head of the laboratory within the tumour cytogenetics laboratory located in the University Children's Hospital Zurich, Switzerland.The laboratory acts as a reference laboratory for a number of international trials and currently receives approximately 1600 samples per year from a broad spectrum of childhood and adult neoplasms. We are looking for a person with a strong motivation for diagnostic tumour cytogenetic work, and proven G-banding analysis abilities. In addition, you should have a proven higher education as clinical cytogeneticist. Some knowledge of the German language is advantageous. The position is available starting on February 1^st,  2010.  The city of Zurich is situated at the head of Lake Zurich with the nearest skiing region only an hour car or train journey away.
