The Department of Pathology at the University of Virginia Health System has a Research Associate position available to study molecular mechanisms of human hematopoeisis and leukemia. Major projects involve identification of signaling pathways and transcription factors involved in megakaryocyte lineage commitment.
A Ph.D and/or M.D/Ph.D degree in biological sciences or medicine with at least two years of experience in molecular biology, cell culture and animal study are required.
