Genomics, Society and Policy

As a peer reviewed online journal Genomics, Society and Policy provides an outlet for interdisciplinary research on the social, ethical and legal aspects of genomics and related emergent technologies such as nanotechnology and stem cell research. Submissions are encouraged from a wide range of perspectives, including sociological, philosophical, anthropological and historical. The journal will be published three times a year.

The first issue was launched on 28th February and is themed around Human Tissue, Epidemiology and Ethics. Our next issue will publish in August 2005 and we are currently open to submissions with a deadline of June 1st..

Edited by Ruth Chadwick and Hub Zwart, Genomics, Society and Policy is an initiative of the ESRC Centre for Economic and Social Aspects of Genomics (CESAGen), the Dutch Centre for Society and Genomics and the ESRC Genomics Network. Genomics Society and Policy features an internationally renowned editorial board.
