4E10, a molecule described in detail by Researchers Dennis Burton and Ian Wilson of Scripps Research Institute in their publication entitled "Broadly Neutralizing Anti- HIV antibody 4E10 Recognizes a Helical Conformation of a Highly Conserved Fusion - Associated Motif in gp41" with co- authors RM Cardoso , MB Zwick, RL Stanfield, R Kunert, JM Binley and H. Katinger, published in Immunity, Volume 22(2), pages 163-73 on February 2005 was voted as the Molecule of the Year 2005 by the Members of the International Society for Molecular and Cell Biology Protocols and Researches, Inc.(ISMCBPR). 4E10 was chosen among the six prestigious nominated molecules and these include the Lysophosphatidic acid (LPA); Baf60c, Herstatin, Angiotensin Converting Enzyme 2 (ACE-2) and the Fruitless Gene. This took place during the International Scientific Programme 2005 at the AVR, Graduate and Continuing Education Building of the University of the Philippines in the Visayas, Iloilo City, Philippines on December 14, 2005.
