Nature Publishing Group is pleased to announce the launch of the Signaling Gateway - a new one-stop FREE resource for cell signaling research from the Alliance for Cellular Signaling (AfCS) and Nature Publishing Group (NPG).
This innovative resource is a unique collaboration between an academic group and a scientific publisher. This partnership perfectly marries the deep data archives of the Alliance for Cellular Signaling with the editorial experience of the Nature Publishing Group. The site provides a new way of publishing scientific information which will provide functionality that can only be delivered online, whilst maintaining levels of editorial quality and peer review that are more usually associated with scientific papers appearing in print. NPG is pleased that all of the content on the site is available without charge and are delighted to be part of this innovative publishing opportunity.
The Signaling Gateway features the following sections: Molecule Pages - an up to the minute database of key information on a comprehensive set of well over 3,000 cell signaling proteins. The current data set includes information collated from numerous online resources and is continually updated. Over the coming months, this will be supplemented with peer-reviewed information entered by specially invited expert authors. Signaling Update - the weekly Signaling Update section of the site includes: * accessible digests of the current signaling literature
