  January 15, 2021

Functional Food Center, Online LinkedIn Event
April 29-30, 2021

The impact of the novel coronavirus on global health has highlighted the need for alternative, non-pharmaceutical methods when treatments or vaccines are not readily available. Research on functional foods and bioactive compounds have led to findings that may help enhance immunity and reduce risk for catching viral disease such as COVID-19.

The central theme for the Functional Food Center’s 29th International Conference is "Can Functional Foods and Bioactive Compounds Reduce the Risk of Chronic and Viral Diseases?" This conference will unite experts in medicine, biology, and the food industry to discuss the usage of functional foods and bioactive compounds for the management of chronic disease.
