The programme will cover key topics within basic and translational research, giving an overview including the latest breakthroughs. It will enable participants to get a feel for what is going on in the top cancer research laboratories.

Target audience: This one day programme of 8 special lectures is designed for oncologists and medical practitioners who want to learn more about the research that underpins cancer treatment. These sessions will also be useful for early-career researchers, for example those just beginning their PhD, who would benefit from a summary overview of the field of basic and translational cancer research.
