HISTORY AND AIMS

       The Executive Committe of the 2012 International Ethnobotany Symposio, in response to a vast request of Friends in the Fields of Medicine and Health Care, agreed to celebrate, jointly with British, European, Pan American, Oceania, Asian and African scientists, this ad hoc Meeting on Transcultural Health Care and Medicine, presenting it to the International Health Care and Medical Community and scholars, with special mention to tropical medicine, health promotion, psycho-social, and primary health care. This one day Symposio, the First by its nature and objectives, will be held at the end of the X International Ethnobotany Symposio at The Wellcome Trust Genome Campus,  Rosalind Franklin Pavilion, Hinxton, Cambridge, England, Under the auspices of The Open University Trust, Costa Rica, and the International Ethnobotany Symposio.

CANCELLATION OF CONFERENCE

Because the lack of adhesions within the deadlines for registration, dues payment, sending of ABSTRACTS and last minute notice of disease of important invited lectures, the Organizing Committee is committed to cancel the Symposio.

Interested parties are invited to adhere to the realization of a Videoconference by internet onr day 21st, so they can present their  Papers, Posters and Communications, wich in time will be posted in a CD ROM as Proceedings. 

Deadline for applications:

Registration: August 10^th, 2012. Fee: US$100,00 (Symposio of day 21st only). 

Receipt of Abstracts: August 20th, 2012.

Receipt of Full Papers: August 30th,2012
