Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, Cold Spring Harbor, NY
March 13 - 17, 2012
The 2012 meeting is intended to bring together a diverse group of scientists studying various molecular, genetic and biochemical approaches to the analysis of the PTEN pathway at the cellular level and in develo pment and diseases including cancer, diabetes, and neurological disorders such as autism. Junior and senior researchers will join to discuss their latest research findings and tech nical approaches toward the analysis of the PTEN pathway. Particular emphasis will be given to model systems, disease pathogenesis and therapy. While a number of speakers have been invited, please note that the majority of oral presentations will be drawn from openly submitted abstracts. Session Themes: * PTEN Regulation * Upstream of PTEN * Downstream of PTEN (PDK 1/mTORC2/AKT) * Intersecting Pathways: AMPK/TSC/mTORC1 * Therapeutic Modulation of the Pathway * Aging, Metabolism and Cancer * Disease Models
