Plant Genomes & Biotechnology

  December 08, 2010

Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, Cold Spring Harbor, NY
November 30 - December 3, 2011

We are pleased to announce the eighth Cold Spring Harbor winter conference this year focused on Plant Genomes & Biotechnology: From Genes To Networks, which will begin on Wednesday evening, November 30, 2011 and end at noon on Saturday, December 3. We are looking forward to a broad-based meeting, and abstracts are welcomed on all scientific topics related to advances in our understanding of plant genome structure and function. The aims of this meeting are to review progress in genome analysis of the major plant groups and to determine the similarities and differences in genome structure, composition and function of the major groups of experimental and crop plants.

The format of the meeting will include six oral sessions and one poster session. Each oral session will include invited speakers and speakers selected from submitted abstracts. For this reason, abstracts from accomplished junior and senior investigators are warmly invited.

Abstracts should contain only new and unpublished material and must be submitted electronically by the abstract deadline. Selection of material for oral and poster presentation will be made by the organizers and individual session chairs. Status (talk/poster) of abstracts will be posted on our web site as soon as decisions have been made by the organizers.
