Meeting Objectives – Participants will:

  • Discuss updates and current information related to cancer and bone health
  • Demonstrate understanding of the common and unusual metabolic bone diseases
  • Use case studies to illustrate various metabolic bone diseases
  • Analyze presenting signs and symptoms of metabolic bone diseases
  • Discuss approaches to integrating new concepts into current practice
  • Formulate new treatment approaches to osteoporosis

Registration:

Registration Fee: $50.00 students, $100.00 clinicians, academics, and non-profits, $200.00 industry

The registration fee includes two breakfasts, and one dinner for the registrant. Registrants may purchase a guest meal package for $90.00 per person.

Please call the Grand Summit Resort Hotel at 800-527-9879 or 207-237-2222 to reserve your accommodations. To obtain the group rate, you must call on or before January 9, 2009 and mention that you are with the Osteoporosis Symposium. The registration fee will not include overnight accommodations and registering for the meeting does not reserve your room. You must reserve your accommodations by calling the hotel. The Grand Summit Resort Hotel has also extended a special lift ticket rate for meeting participants, be sure to ask for it if you plan to ski!

Cancellation Policy:  In order to receive a refund, your signed notice of cancellation must be received in writing (by post, email or fax) 30 calendar days prior to the meeting.  No refunds will be granted after that date.    Should it be necessary to cancel the event, The Jackson Laboratory will refund all registration fees paid; but is not responsible for any airfare, hotel or other associated costs incurred by participants.
