The Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, 1 Lambeth High Street, London
26-11-2007
Goal of the conference: The Quality-International Conference 2007 aims to discuss the operational definitions of criticality for the five most common pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, thereby contributing to a more harmonized understanding of process criticality across the pharmaceutical industry. The conference has already invited fifteen leading experts in the field of API, biotech, tablet and parenteral manufacturing to present their views and to give in case studies practical approaches on how to tackle process criticality. Moreover the conference gives you the possibility to present your view on the matter either in a poster or a short oral presentation.

Pharmaceutical manufacturing is going through a major transition phase. The industry is moving from quality by end testing to quality by design using a more holistic control strategy. However, this requires enhanced scientific understanding of the pharmaceutical processes including a scientific appreciation of the criticality of each process step.
