Signalling to Chromatin - Epigenetics

  February 16, 2006

European Science Foundation (ESF), Wellcome Trust Genome Campus
5-9 June 2006

Signalling cascades control development and a multitude of cell functions by regulating chromatin remodelling events that determine transcriptional responses. This meeting aims at fostering the understanding and exploration of the link between signalling pathways and chromatin remodelling. It will illuminate the known mechanistic links between key signalling cascades and chromatin remodelling machinery and expose important questions in this field.
Sessions will focus on: Signalling to the nucleosome: Histone modifications; Signalling to the nucleosome: Nucleosome remodelling; Signalling to genes; Sigalling to chromatin in development; Signalling to chromatin in the immune response; Signalling to chromatin in health and disease.
