in vivo Molecular Imaging

  September 08, 2004

Cambridge Healthtech Institute, La Jolla, California
November 16 - 17, 2004

Despite significant progress in medical imaging technologies, the need for more specific information on a molecular level for the detection of early metabolic and genetic changes in vivo has not been fully addressed. Developing novel molecular imaging technologies and improving the existing ones by designing better probes and increasing specificity and bioavailability is key for early detection of diseases on a molecular basis and the development of targeted therapeutics. This conference will examine the development of specific and efficient intracellular targeting and imaging systems which provide high resolution as well as high sensitivity.
