-, Hyatt Regency Reston
December 6-7, 2004

IBC’s International Conference on Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathies: Strategies to Detect, Reduce and Eliminate Infectivity in Biopharmaceuticals, offers a comprehensive update on these new technologies from the industry leaders. Sessions will be devoted to FDA regulatory issues and assessing susceptibility of tissue culture cells to transmissible spongiform encephalopathies (TSE) infection, advances in diagnostic technologies for TSE agents, and novel clearance and inactivation technologies to reduce and eliminate TSE infectivity in biopharmaceuticals. Take advantage of a special Pre-Conference Workshop on Developing Animal-Free Cell Culture Media. Registrants of this workshop will hear the latest techniques in the quest to make an effective, safer cell media that helps minimize risk of pathogen contamination.
