You are cordially invited to participate in the ninth conference on Translational Control to be held at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. The opening keynote session will begin at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, September 7 and the meeting will end after lunch on Sunday, September 12, 2004. As currently planned, the program will contain a special session of keynote talks, eight formal sessions devoted to oral presentations, together with four poster sessions for presentations which cannot be accommodated in the formal sessions. Selection of talks for the oral sessions will be made by the organizers in conjunction with the session chairpersons, from the submitted abstracts.

The format of the meeting will include morning and evening sessions, selected from the abstracts, principally on unpublished work. Each session will begin and end with talks by the session leaders. In addition, there will be two poster sessions, held in the afternoons. The organizers will decide the suitability of each abstract for oral or poster presentation, but please specify if you prefer a poster.
