Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, Cold Spring Harbor, New York
June 2 - 7, 2004

We are pleased to host the 69th Cold Spring Harbor Symposium which will address Epigenetics. The Symposium will begin at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, June 2, 2004 and end on the evening of Monday June 7. The Symposium will include 12/13 oral sessions and 2/3 poster sessions covering all aspects of the epigenetic state. Social events throughout the Symposium provide ample opportunity for informal interactions and will include a wine-and-cheese party, a beach picnic, cocktails and banquet, and final morning special brunch.

Topics will include:

Imprinting
Epigenetic Mechanisms
Gene Silencing and Chromosome Inactivation
Histone Modifications & Modifying Enzymes
Position Effect Variegation
Inheritance and Maintenance of Chromatin States RNAi
DNA Methylation
Epimutations
Epigenetics and Disease
Gene-Environment Interactions
