Scientific & Technological Advances in Cancer Research

  October 27, 2003

IBC Life Sciences, Hyatt Regency, Reston, VA
February 11-13, 2004

Exciting new advances in technologies and breakthroughs in cancer biology will yield quantum leaps towards a better understanding of the molecular basis of cancer, and thus the ability to control and eliminate it. To take full advantage of these opportunities, academia, government and industry researchers need to hone in their efforts collectively to achieve an integrated approach to the effective detection, diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of cancer. For the second year, IBC and the Center for Cancer Research have come together to co-organize this scientific meeting, Advances in Cancer Research, to accelerate the exchange of information among scientists, provide a forum for researchers to showcase their research and innovations as well as open the door towards greater collaborations.
