The mission of the conference is to bring new knowledge to the field of biodefense from traditional medical, microbial, technological, and pharmaceutical knowledge bases, as well as to expand the use of biodefense products and substances into these areas for possible treatment of other emerging diseases, infections, and cancer. The conference will encourage the collaboration of scientific institutions and research and development companies with pharmaceutical companies to apply this knowledge in joint developmental projects.
