Mouse Initiatives V: Genomics of Complex Systems in Biomedical Research
  April 10, 2003

Medical Research (others)

The Jackson Laboratory, Bar Harbor, Maine, USA
July 30-August 2, 2003

The Mouse Initiatives Conference is an annual event designed to address timely and emerging issues in mouse genomics and genetics. The recent availability of genomic sequences of mice, humans and other key model organisms has provided unprecendented opportunities for computational and experimental comparative genomic approaches for assessing gene function. Accordingly, this year’s Mouse Initiatives conference will focus on multi-species approaches to functional genomics, especially with respect to emerging technology, gene regulation, and the impact on biomedicine. As in past years, the conference will be highly interactive; participation by attendees in the form of platform or poster presentations and dialog with the speakers is strongly encouraged. Participants are encouraged to submit an abstract for poster session and/or short platform talk consideration. Abstract Deadline is July 1.
