Trauma, Shock, Inflammation and Sepsis - Pathophysiology, Immune Consequences and Therapy

  April 09, 2003

Dept. of Surgery, Klinikumm Grosshadern, LM University Munich, Klinikumm Grosshadern, Marchioninistr. 15, 81377 Munich, Germany
2 March to 6 March 2004

The major theme of the congress is: "Trauma, inflammation and organ dysfunction in the era of the genome" and provides the ideal venue to learn about the promise of functional genomics , the limitations of rapidly evolving technology, and the application of complex systems strategies to evaluate integrated genome-wide data sets.
The wide array of conference topics will include all major aspects of cell biology, clinical pathophysiology, monitoring, intensive care and therapy - basic studies and results of innovative clinical care will be discussed. We will be gathering basic scientists, clinicians and intensivists from around the world and provide a great forum for presentation and discussion of the latest advances in science-molecular biology, immunology, biochemistry, genetics, high technology and other areas as outlined and depicted within the wide spectrum of topics.
