HIV VACCINES: Design - Potency - Delivery*
  February 27, 2003

Biochemistry / Immunology

The Knowledge Foundation, Inc., Cambridge, MA USA
June 22 - 23, 2003

Detailed agenda available at website.

The CDC has reported that 30 million people are infected worldwide with HIV. Even though this epidemic continues to grow, there is no vaccine available which can be used on its own for treatment or prevention of the HIV infection. Progressive treatment of this condition relies greatly on researchers targeting such issues as improving the immunogenicity of current vaccines, designing an effective delivery tool, finding vaccines for the HIV strain variation and boosting the humoral and cellular immunity.
This conference provides you with state of the art knowledge on designing potent vaccines for the treatment of HIV infection. Leaders from industry and academia will provide you with the latest information on

Increasing the Potency of DNA Vaccines
Gene Shuffling, Expression Vectors and Synthetic Adjuvants
Epidermal Powder Immunization
HIV Gag Vaccines
Multi-Epitope Vaccines
Envelope Molecules Based Vaccines
Peptide Based Vaccines
Synthetic AIDS Vaccines
Gp120-CD4 Receptor Complex
Gaia Cross-Clade HIV Vaccine
Neutralizing Antibodies
