There are important advances in our understanding of factors associated with cancer in women and new challenges facing clinicians regarding menopausal health management. Primary care physicians, ob/gyn physicians, oncologists, surgeons and other allied health care professionals who participate in this course will learn the guidelines for early detection of breast, ovarian, uterine and cervical cancer for the full spectrum of risk, and how to identify patients in their practice who are appropriate for genetic cancer risk assessment services. They will also learn about the controversies associated with the use of hormone replacement therapy and participate in panel discussion and case presentations on these timely issues in women's health.

Registration: Course Fee The course fee is $100 per person if postmarked by February 28, 2003. If postmarked after February 28, 2003, the registration fee is $125. A $30 deposit is required for City of Hope employees and is refundable upon course completion. Through a partnership with Kaiser Permanente, Queens Care Family of Clinics and Olive View Medical Center, a reduced fee will be offered ($20 to cover meals and refreshments) to the first 120 participants.
