Cambridge Healthtech Institute's Genomic and Proteomic Sample Preparation | ||||||||||||||||
January 28, 2003 | ||||||||||||||||
Cambridge Healthtech Institute, World Trade Center, 200 Seaport Boulevard, Boston, MA 02210 May 15-16, 2003 As genomic and proteomic technologies move towards high throughput, sample preparation risks become the bottleneck upstream. Each step, from sample sourcing, capture, and extraction through characterization, is important to generate accurate data, and huge variations in outcomes can occur under different handling conditions. Furthermore, advances in microfluidics and microarray technologies make sample preparation critically important for miniaturization and automation. This conference will offer solutions for ensuring sample quality and preventing sample preparation bottlenecks. It will also present information about the latest trends in sample preparation for miniaturization and automation.
