This course has been developed by the nation's recognized authorities in the fields of gynecology, urology, and internal medicine to provide a cutting edge review and update of new approaches related to maintaining the health and well-being of today's modern maturing woman. The faculty brings their unique expertise to a practical, relevant, and clinically applicable format. The course is structured to provide attendees with ample opportunity for one-on-one discussion with faculty and colleagues.

OBJECTIVES
After completing this program, participants should be able to:
· Recognize previously unrecognized health issues associated with perimenopause
· Utilize ultrasound to triage patients with abnormal uterine bleeding
· Evaluate the use of hormone replacement therapy and selective estrogen receptor modulators for maintaining postmenopausal health
· Assess risk for cardiovascular disease in peri- and postmenopausal women
· Understand the importance of bone-density screening and the treatment options to maintain bone health
· Discuss measures to prevent breast cancer
· Identify treatment options for urinary problems in perimenopausal women
· Review pharmacologic options, as well as nutrition therapy, for maintaining women’s health

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Any health professional who provides primary healthcare services to the female patient will benefit from this course, including Internists, Family Practitioners, General Practitioners, Gynecologists, Cardiologists, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Residents/Fellows.
