Sessions include: Business strategy, Partnering, Functional genomics, Proteomics, Structural biology, Bioinformatics, in silico biology, SNPs, pharmacogenomics and integration.

Biomics will also have a comprehensive exhibition, Product launches, lunch time discussions and product demonstrations. It will offer solutions for such problems as how to identify and validate novel targets; how to identify and characterise protein-bound drug targets such as GCPRs in an efficient and cost-effective process; how to utilise gene and protein information for diagnostics; how to integrate more than one technology or knowledge bank to determine the relevant information effectively.

Organized by: IBC Life Sciences
Invited Speakers: Dr Walter Blackstock, Project leader, GlaxoSmithKline R&D, UK

Dr Scott Patterson, Director of Proteomics, Celera, USA

Dr Anthony Watts, Professor of Biochemistry and Fellow of St Hugh's College, Director, National Biological Solid State NMR Facility at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory
