High-throughput function determination is critical to realizing potential within whole genomes of information. Although the human genome sequence has been made available, it is necessary to understand the mechanisms that allow an efficiency of genes to produce a multitude of proteins with diverse functions. Exploration of gene function will probe into how genes encode for proteins by alternative splicing and how they employ a modular approach to genetic circuitry.
