OBJECTIVES To provide physicians with information about the most current as well as the anticipated new cancer treatments in various oncologic subspecialties To promote better understanding of the broad range of proven complementary/adjunctive therapies to treat the stress, anxiety, pain, fatigue, and other symptoms associated with cancer and its treatment To differentiate between beneficial complementary or supportive care and useless or harmful alternative therapies To provide an opportunity for oncologists to discuss treatment issues with internationally recognized experts in oncology and complementary medicine WHO SHOULD ATTEND Clinical oncologists and other physicians who provide cancer care Fellows preparing for careers in oncology |
