Biological Assay Development and Validation: Techniques for Accelerating Product Approval | ||||
IBC USA Conferences, Inc.
, Loews L'Enfant Plaza Hotel * Washington, DC May 17-19, 2000 |

Biological assays have become the highest profile analytical method in today's biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical industry. They often represent the keystone for proof of concept during early product development and are critical to firms making manufacturing changes. A good biological potency assay is often the key to a successful CMC section. Yet these assays are problematical, poorly understood and often become the poor cousin within analytical development and QC groups. This second annual meeting is the place to hear the trials, tribulations and success stories from practicing bioassay scientists. Come hear and discuss candidly what worked with the FDA and what didn't. Even more importantly, hear successful approaches to developing and maintaining these critical but tricky assays. |
