Ecology, Environmental and Evolutionary Biology

IBC USA Conferences, Inc., Loews L'Enfant Plaza Hotel, Washington, DC
June 26 - 28, 2000

Environmental forensics is the systematic and critical aspect of environmental data used in litigation. During the past five years, this new and emerging discipline has mushroomed into a science encompassing the fields of chemistry, geology, hydrogeology, forensic archaeology, cost accounting and contaminant modeling. As the science matures, these disciplines will coalesce into a uniform methodology that is applicable for age dating and identifying the origin of a contaminant release in any environmental setting. IBC's 3rd Annual Environmental Forensics Executive Forum provides a valuable opportunity for learning and exchanging ideas that will propel the development of this science in the new millennium. The only forum of its kind specifically designed to bring the scientific community and the legal community in the same arena to solve the mystery of an Environmental Investigation.
