It is our belief that the future of health care will be determined by how effectively we can decipher the data from the Human Genome Project. In order to do this and fully realize its potential, we must look outside human genetics and explore the world of viruses, bacteria, fungi, and plants. A comparison of these maps will chart undiscovered pathways and exciting new paradigms in drug development. We will focus our attention on the advances and results of the new techniques and therapies derived from the discovery and interpretation of nonhuman genetic sequences. |
