Institut Pasteur , Paris, France
June 26-27, 2000

The CHF EUROCONFERENCE is aimed to provide a comprehensive analysis and discussion on the genetics, molecular biology, metabolic, pharmacology and clinical issues to be faced in the 21st century management of CHF. In particular, the epidemiologics and pharmacogenetic aspects will be reviewed, followed by the analysis of the role of ion channels, the novel discoveries in the field of immune mechanisms and growth factors, signal transduction as a potential drug target, the general problems raised by myocyte survival, particularly in the field of apoptosis, remodeling, cytoskeletal pathways.
