Continuing Medical Education (CME) - 14th Annual Series of Primary Care: Live presentations, accredited by ACCME (20 Hours Category 1 AMA, AAFP Prescribed, ACOG Cognates, and Category 1 ACEP), with a detailed syllabus. Also, home study courses and audio tapes available. Popular morning sessions allow participants time for study, family activities, and recreation. Day 1: C-Spine: Normal vs. Variations of Normals, Pathology vs. Technique or Alignment. Trauma: Fx, Ligamentous Disruption, Subluxation. Special Views. Foreign Body Ingestion and Infection. L-S Spine: Normal vs. Variations of Normals. Trauma, DJD, etc.

Day 2: Chest: Trauma, Infection & Malignancy; P.E. Foreign Body and Airway Obstruction. Soft Tissue Masses; The Pediatric CXR. T-Spine: Normal vs. Variations of Normals. Trauma, Occult Fractures, Infectious Processes and Cord-Threatening Lesions.

Day 3: Abdomen: Obstructive Processes, Blunt and Penetrating Trauma, CT Imaging. Ischemic Processes & Assessment of Free Air and Fluid, Pediatric Imaging. Pelvis: Trauma, CT Scanning of Subtle Injuries, Hip Dislocation and Subluxation. Masses. G-U Injuries: Trauma to the KUB System, Bony Fx's Seen with Associated G-U Injuries, Renal CT Scans, What Not To Do When Investigating G-U Injuries.

Day 4: Facial Bones: Trauma. Infection. Neuroimaging of the Brain: Intracranial Bleeds, Trauma, Hydrocephalus, Infectious Processes, Neuroimaging of the Immunocompromised Patient, Neoplasms. Extremities: Upper Extremities: Trauma, Infectious Processes, Metabolic Bone Disease. Lower Extremities: Trauma, Infectious Processes, Metabolic Bone Disease.

Day 5: Risk Management: Anatomy of a Malpractice Suit. Statistics of Claims. Avoiding Litigation. What To Do If Named In A Suit. Risk Management in the E.D. by Specialty: Emergency Medicine, OB-GYN, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, etc.
