DRUG DISCOVERY PARADIGM INDIA

Program:
The region of Asia from the Middle East to the Southern Crescent is composed of a number of developing nations. Countries in this geographical area include China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines and Thailand. The domestic and international pharmaceutical industry in these countries devotes a major portion of its R & D budgets to the discovery and development of new drugs specifically for infectious diseases endemic to the region. This conference is designed to bring together European and US scientists with their colleagues in this region to share advances in the paradigm shift occurring in drug discovery. Topics for the conference include: interfaces with genomics, high throughput screening, molecular diversity, high throughput synthesis, as well as bio- and chemoinformatics.
