Program:
Agricultural biotechnology continues to benefit from the insights being developed during the era
of the Human Genome Project. The proliferation of mapping, genotyping, and diagnostic
methodologies has rapidly expanded the analytical tools available to crop scientists for the
analysis of plant genomes. In addition, funding by both the public and private sectors is building
the foundation that enables an explosion of GMOs for both input and output traits. Cambridge
Healthtech Institute’s Second Annual Impact of Molecular Biology on Crop Production and Crop
Protection is designed to bring together both the researchers driving the field of technology and
the researchers exploring the applications of specific crop improvements. Those attending the
meeting can expect numerous opportunities to learn about new strategies and techniques that can
be readily applied to a wide range of specific uses. This meeting will provide you with the most
time-efficient means of catching up with the latest developments in this rapidly moving field.
