Program:
The conference deals with the latest progress in T cell receptor and CD3 biosynthesis, assembly, membrane expression and function. Topics will include TCR crystalstructures, TCR/CD3 complex stoichiometry, TCR/CD3 assembly in CD3 deficient mice or human immunodeficiency patients and newchaperones in TCR/CD3 assembly. TCR/CD3 structure/function relationship during thymocyte differentiation, and the role of TCRa, b, g , and d chains or CD3g, d, e, chains in positive and negative selection will be discussed. The changes in TCR/CD3 complex composition and stoichiometry during the thymocyte maturation process [CD3ge ->TCRgd/CD3 -> pTCR/CD3 ->TCRab/CD3] will be considered as well.
