Program:
The Cooperative Research Centre for Diagnostic Technologies (CDT) commenced in July 1995 to provide Australia with a centre of excellence for the development of diagnostic technologies. Members include some of Australia's leading diagnostic companies and key research institutes in the diagnostics field. They are: AMRAD Biotech, Bioclone, CSIRO, Kolling Institute, LaTrobe University, Queensland University of Technology and PanBio.

A comprehensive conference program has been designed which blends both commercial and research aspects of diagnostics. Recent developments in cutting edge research in areas such as antibody engineering and DNA based diagnostics will be covered, in addition to a focus on industry direction, legal and IP issues. Topical "round table" breakfast discussions also have been planned to stimulate discussions throughout the days' proceedings.

We look forward to seeing you in Melbourne. Tony Evans, CDT Director.
