Program:
This year’s meeting will focus on the mechanisms that
control gene regulation and the products of gene expression.
The use of this knowledge will enrich our understanding of
molecular biology and will determine our ability to alter
the course of the disease process. Sessions will include:
Gene Knock-Outs, Yeast as Model System, Understanding the
Genetic Basis of Disease, Genes that Control Cellular
Activity, and Genome-Wide Functional Studies
