Program:
The American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR) will hold its 8th Annual Research Conference
September 3-4 in Washington, D.C. at the Washington Hilton and Towers. Renowned speakers from
across the nation and around the world will discuss the the mechanisms involved in normal and
abnormal colon development, including cell differentiation, proliferation, apoptosis, signalling and
epigenic mechanisms and the role of APC gene. Modulation of tumorigenesis by nutrional and
chemopreventive agents will also be discussed. The program will include a large poster session.
