Program:
The Molecular Design Institute of the University of California San Francisco announces a two-day meeting organized by Professors Marc Shuman, Charles Craik, James McKerrow, and Zena Werb to address the biological role of proteases in tumor growth and invasion and opportunitites for portease inhibitor drugs. Experts at the interface of chemistry and cancer biology including computational experts who seek basic understanding of the biological role of proteases and of the structure and function of proteases in support of new drug discovery are invited to attend. Poster sessions provide the opportunity for all who attend to present their recent results.
