Program:
This conference is an intensive 4-day educational program
developed to provide genetic counselors with current
information and methods to incorporate clinical and
molecular advances into clinical practice, emphasizing
emerging trends in healthcare, scientific research and
legislation. The course will explore the social, ethical,
and legal impact of human genome advances on patient
populations as well as on the porfessional. Registrants
will exchange ideas about marketing comprehensive genetic
serivces to consumers and educating primary care providers
about the unique role genetic counselors play in today's
health care environment.
