The "virtual" biopharmaceutical company may be more myth than reality.
Regulatory compliance and ultimate project control are concerns that argue
against absolute virtuality. There are, however, organizational models
between the purely "virtual" company and the fully, vertically integrated
biopharmaceutical company. This conference will explore these models. In
addition, the economics driving the outsourcing of pharmaceutical
development services will be presented. There will be sessions that explore
the impact of concurrent engineering and issues of stakeholder value
creation in which topics related to time to market and company valuation
will be addressed.
