3rd Annual MICROFABRICATION

Cambridge Healthtech Institute , San Jose, California
October 27-28, 1997

Program:
DNA-Chips will be a central feature in the effort to track genes and gene expression profiles in order
to understand and monitor the disease process and measure effects on biological systems. The use of
miniaturized biological detection systems has been widely accepted as the trend of the future.
Innovations in this area are making it possible to design progressively smaller and more compact
tools that incorporate sample preparation along with the detection of nucleic acids and proteins. New
technology developments will be highlighted at the meeting, along with updates of the field's most
rapidly advancing research laboratories and commercial concerns. Find out what's new in this
increasingly important field of research by planning to attend.
