DOWNSTREAM PROCESSING-Europe

Cambridge Healthtech Institute , Amsterdam, The Netherlands
October 20-22, 1997

Program:
Co-sponsors: Millipore Corp. and Pharmacia Biotech
Continuous improvements to downstream manufacturing operations associated with the manufacture
of products derived from biological sources are a critical and evolving area. Changes in international
regulatory requirements and opportunities for process productivity improvements driven by
technological advances are causing biopharmaceutical companies to focus more resources in the
downstream processing area. This conference will feature presentations by leading European
industrial process professionals who will provide "case study" presentations which will provide
attendees with practical, "how to" information on a broad range of downstream processing issues.
Topics to be covered include process validation, scale-up studies, production economics, process
development advances, and technology transfer issues.
