AKC Molecular Genetics and Canine Genetic Health Conference

Program:
This Conference will focus on the advances in canine genetics since the inaugural 1994 AKC Molecular
Genetics and Canine Genetic Health Conference, with particular reference to the canine genome and
research sponsored by the AKC and the Foundation.

The Conference Headquarters is the Renaissance St. Louis Airport Hotel, and will accommodate
two-hundred scientists. The topics to be highlighted are:

Genetic Variation in Canidae and Purebred Dogs
The Canine Genome and Genetic Maps
Identifying and Characterizing Canine Genetic Disease Genes
Advances in Canine Health
