This four-day conference is an update of the International Workshop on
the Development and Applications of Biomarkers, which was held April 1994
in Santa Fe, NM. Featured are more than 40 speakers from around the world
discussing topics such as:

- Technologies for Measuring Exposures
- Biomarkers of Metabolic Susceptibility
- Genomics and Technology Developments
- Issues related to DNA Sample Storage
- Diagnostic Kit Technology
- Practical Applications
- Ethical Considerations

The keynote address will be delivered by Dr. Joshua Lederberg, a Nobel
Laureate and Raymond and Beverly Sackler Foundation Scholar, from the
Rockefeller University.

The conference is being presented by the Environmental Hazards Assessment
Program at the Medical University of South Carolina. Details of the
